Many thanks to all the volunteers

VETERAN’S FLAG PROJECT in our community of BANDON continues to expand to all five Bandon cemeteries (VFW, Odd Fellows, and at the three cemeteries on Harlem, Catholic, GAR and Pioneer), making our community and families proud. The veteran’s flags which were donated by the family of deceased veterans, increased from 24 flags last Memorial Day at two of the cemeteries, to 51 in all five cemeteries. Many thanks to all the volunteers, and these local merchants, who helped with this addition to the community beautification project, done on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2007. Many thanks go to Kiwanis for their generous donation, Bandon Concrete, Bandon Fabrication (Ron), the local 3440 VFW, Bandon Rental and Equipment, True Value (Phil), Bandon Mini- storage, Bandon Bait, Port O Call, and Bandon Florist. Great Job!
I think it is a wonderful project! I admire all of you... for all the hard work and everything you have done to Honor our Veterans

VISION COME TRUE
It has been a blessing seeing Harry's vision come to realization. My thanks to all the help from volunteers of family and friends over this past two years.

My Uncle Micheal O'Campo
This is a awesome vision and I would love to honor my Uncle Micheal by having his flag honoring him with this vision you have created. I don't have many mementos in my life however, this is not about me! So, I want to share and fly his fly whenever possible. I will get this flag to you very soon. God Bless.

A VET
Makes me proud to see people like you keeping the memories alive. Thanks from another Mahan Vet.

Appreciation of a Job Well Done
We have visited Bandon often in the past and truely love that community. This note is to let you know that your project is appreciated and that my wife Sharon and I are looking forward to our next visit to your beloved town. It is no wonder that we enjoy ourselves there with so many good people that care perfoming meaningful projects such as yours. Well Done !! I have a younger brother (sub sailor) buried in Coos Bay. This reminds me that I need to take a trip to the south coast to visit his grave. Thanks for all you are doing. Bob Nelson, Cove, Oregon. DLG 11 68-69-70

Thanks, Harry and Bonnie
Hi Guys, It must be very rewarding to have a vision for a project, as you did, and then set about doing whatever was necessary to fulfill that vision. You surely are to be commended for having the vision and for getting all the work done to bring it to fulfillment. Thank you very much. The flag of our nation is not a controversial symbol as some would have us believe. Too many men and women have died to keep this flag flying. Let us never forget it.
